It was a pleasure meeting with members of your group to learn more about the Toronto Dollar project.  I am delighted to extend my warmest congratulations to St. Lawrence Works on this innovative initiative.  It is one of the most promising projects I have seen.  The hope and practical compassion that lies at the heart of this exciting new venture will, I am confident capture the imagination of many Toronto citizens.  It again demonstrates the power of dedicated volunteers working in community - showing that citizens can make a difference.

I wish you all success and I encourage businesses and others to support the Toronto Dollar.
